Finish Your Workout with ‘The Face Melter’

This finisher only involves one exercise, but it'll torch an insane amount of fat and leave you dripping from head to toe. That's why Men's Health Fitness Director BJ Gaddour calls it the “face melter.”

“Sometimes you just want to melt your face off and challenge your mental toughness when ending a workout,” he says.

Face melters will test your mental willpower, while taxing your shoulder, arm, and core muscles. If you go hard and go fast, it'll also ramp up your cardio and metabolic response, explains Gaddour.

Here are 3 ways you can use the exercise to cap off your workout.

1. Plug it into a short circuit as an upper-body, core, or cardio movement.
2. Do 50 to 100 total reps. One rep is when both of your feet come off the bench, and then go back on the bench.
3. Do as many reps as you can for 20 seconds, and then rest for 10 seconds. Repeat for 8 to 10 rounds.
